Monitor and Record

Write down what is happening, following the instructions your own care team already gave you.

Your own sick-day plan decides what to record and when. This section covers the writing-down part: keeping a timeline you can read back over the phone, what is worth having on the page, and how to keep notes usable when you feel awful. It does not say what any reading means, or how often to take one.

Guides in this section

If this feels like an emergency, stop reading. In the United States, call 911 or your local emergency number, or go to the nearest emergency department.
